Preparing this easy, quick and healthy recipe is a delicate and delicious way to serve a small whole fish. It is even better served with Thai jasmine rice and sesame seeds.
- 2 trout fillets (140 g each)
- 1 garlic clove (chopped)
- 1 red chili (chopped)
- 1 lime
- 3 pak choi (quartered lengthways)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Place the fish fillets side by side on a large square of foil and scatter the ginger, garlic, chili and lime zest over them.
Pour the lime juice on top. Add the pieces of pak choi to the fish.
Pour the soy sauce over the pak choi and make a foil package leaving the space for the steam to circulate while cooking.
Let it steam for 15 minutes.
In case you don’t have a steamer, you can use a pan of simmering water with a heatproof plate over it.
